9 DAYS ZIMBABWE ADVENTURE

Day 1: Arrival - Harare - Mana Pools NP

Arriving in Harare, after welcoming greetings, a quick check in the hotel, then start with a welcome lunch followed by a transfer to Mana Pools National Park in a small aircraft. Mana Pools National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site, in the far north of Zimbabwe. It offers 2,500km² of untouched nature to explore as it shelters over 100 mammal species, and more than 450 bird species. The park holds the Zambezi river bank and it is known for wildlife visibility beside the river and in the flood plains.

Day 2: Full Day Mana Pools

 A full day game drive in Mana Pools gives the chance to sight different animals like elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, wild dogs, and numerous antelopes.  Along the Zambezi river, you can find the highest populations of elephants and hippos along with Nile crocodiles as they gather around the Long Pool.

Day 3: Mana Pools - Harare - Great Zimbabwe

After an early continental breakfast, fly back to Harare in a small aircraft to catch your drive  to the Great Zimbabwe city, which is conserved into a museum, considered as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, that holds many ancient monuments and a history of a great kingdom during the Late Iron Age, about which little is known. This was a medieval African city known for its large circular wall and tower, which are architectural structures that were ahead of time. It was part of a wealthy African trading empire that controlled much of the East African coast from the 11th to the 15th centuries. Upon arrival and after check in, you will tour in town.

Day 4: Great Zimbabwe - Matopos

Start the morning with a rich breakfast and a scenic road trip to Matopos. Evening game drive at Matopos NP allows to witness all the nature that calls this place home. This national park is located within the Matobo Hills region and it boasts of its richness in flora and fauna. It has over 200 species of tree recorded including the mountain acacia, wild pear and the paperbark acacia. There are also many aloes, wild herbs and over 100 grass species. Matobo shelters various animal and bird species including black and white rhinos, sable antelopes and impala. The park also contains the world’s densest population of the leopards due to the abundance of hyrax, which make up 50% of their diet. You can also find hyenas, hippopotami, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and ostriches.  Matobo National Park contains as well the highest concentration of black eagles. Day 5: Matopos NP - Hwange NP

Depart in the morning to catch an afternoon game drive in Hwange NP.  A Tik forest with a combination of wide planes and bush savannah. It provides a refuge for over 100 species of mammals, birdlife is abundant with over 400 species recorded within the park. Most known for its elephant population to be one of the largest in the world. The park is also a home to one of Africa’s rarest safari animals, including the African wild dog, the brown hyena, and critically endangered black rhino. Enjoy tracking animals and the beautiful scenery surrounding the animals.

Day 6: Full Day Game Drive - Hwange NP

With a packed lunch into the park for a full day game drive, this gives you more chances to sight the diverse animals and nature in this park and to explore the gorgeous views and landscapes that makes it a worthy must visit visit. There is plenty of room to curve out your own space and really the park is one of the real places with a diverse selection of animals, guaranteed sightings and minimal crowds.

Day 7: Hwange Home - Victoria Falls

Anticipating what the new day will reveal in the morning game drive. After coming back for a farewell breakfast transfer to Victoria Falls via traditional village for a cultural experience and Interaction with the chief, which introduces the old medicine, house structure and traditions. Continue to Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. explore the area with a wonderful sunset cruise down the Zambezi River where there might be a chance to see some wildlife such as elephant, hippos and crocodiles. Dinner overlooking the waterhole at the hotel restaurant.

Day 8: Victoria Falls

Early morning driving to visit Elephant Sanctuary, where you will have an opportunity to interact with orphaned elephants and learn more about these gentle giants with their composite social life. Proceed by visiting the mighty Victoria falls, the largest sheet of falling water in the planet and one of the seven natural wonders of the world. With a nice walk through the main viewing points that offers a breathtaking panorama of the plummeting water and the rainbows that hang suspended above the chasm. Finish with a view of the famous Victoria Falls Bridge while you enjoy lunch at the Lookout Cafe with a magnificent view over the river, and a chance for high line activities (Zipline,

helicopter flight, bungee jumping; etc.) with extra cost. end the day with a nice

 dinner with vibrant traditional music, dance and cuisine at The Boma Restaurant.

* Devil pools are option on that day instead of the elephant visit (additional 300$).

Day 9: Departure

A farewell breakfast to Victoria Falls and go for Shopping at the markets for last minute souvenirs. Transfer to Victoria Falls International Airport for your flight home.
